On this week’s episode we have the pleasure of speaking to Chichi Agorom, a writer and Enneagram teacher, located in Los Angeles, CA. Chichi is the author of the book “The Enneagram for Black Liberation: Return to Who You Are Beneath the Armor You Carry”, which is out now. We talk about her new book, the first book written by and FOR Black folks, and we find out a little about what she means when she describes Enneagram types as armor. Chichi so kindly shares with us how she brought more joy into her life and the challenges of personal and collective grief of the last few years. Plus, Chichi tells us why 11 seconds is such an important amount of time. Hien and Zahra end the episode gushing over their love of Chichi and get a bit vulnerable about their lives at the time of this interview.
Chichi Agorom is a lifelong student of what it means to be fully human. She is a Certified Enneagram Teacher & Adjunct Faculty with The Narrative Enneagram and holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Post-Master's Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy.
